Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the techas.co website, landing pages on subdomains, and all current and future applications developed by TechAs and offered via the App Store, Google Play, or the web. When a new app is released, this policy applies unless that app publishes a separate privacy policy.

Depending on the product, we may process the following categories. Not every app uses every category.

• Identity and contact: name, email, phone (contact form; account creation)
• Account data: user ID, profile information, language/theme preferences (in apps using Firebase Authentication)
• User content: recipes, meal plans, notes, tasks, scores, files, comments, and photos you upload (for example dish, ingredient, or fridge photos)
• Health or nutrition information you enter: allergens, calorie estimates, servings, pregnancy or fitness records — only if you use that feature
• AI inputs and outputs: text and images you submit to generate recipes or other content, and the generated results
• Transaction data: in-app purchases, subscriptions, consumable credits or similar balances (via Apple App Store, Google Play, web payment providers, and RevenueCat)
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device model, OS, app or web version, crash reports
• Usage data: page views, session duration, feature usage, and analytics events (only with your consent or when enabled in app or web settings)
• Preference data: theme, language, cookie consent, and browser local storage records (web)

We process personal data to:

• Respond to your inquiries (legitimate interest; explicit consent when submitting the form)
• Provide core app and web functionality, create accounts, and sync data across devices (contract performance)
• Manage purchases, subscriptions, and credit balances (contract performance)
• Run AI features you request (contract performance when you submit text or images)
• Operate and secure our website and apps, detect errors (legitimate interest)
• Remember your theme and language preferences (essential cookies / local storage)
• Analyze usage with anonymous or pseudonymous statistics (only with your consent; explicit consent)
• Comply with legal obligations

Some apps may process health-related information you choose to enter, such as allergens, calories, pregnancy, or fitness data. We use it only to provide that feature and do not sell it for advertising. You can leave optional fields empty.

We may use the following providers. If an app does not use a provider, we do not send that app’s data there.

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics): accounts, data and file storage, backend functions, and analytics
• Google Vertex AI / Gemini: in apps that generate text or images with AI
• Apple App Store and StoreKit: iOS distribution and in-app purchases
• Google Play and Google Play Billing: Android distribution and in-app purchases
• RevenueCat: subscriptions, one-time purchases, and consumable credits (in applicable apps)
• EmailJS: contact form message delivery

The providers above may process data on servers outside Turkey. Transfers are carried out with appropriate technical and organizational safeguards under KVKK Article 9.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for advertising.

• Contact form records: up to 2 years after your request is handled
• Account and app data: while your account is active; within a reasonable period after a deletion request
• Purchase and financial records: for the period required by law
• Analytics and crash data: Firebase default retention (typically 2–14 months)
• Cookie / preference records: for the preference period or up to 12 months

On our websites and Flutter web apps, essential cookies or local storage may store your theme and language preferences. Analytics cookies are enabled only with your consent.

You can change cookie preferences via the footer link or the banner shown on your first visit. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Our mobile apps may request device permissions such as notifications, location, camera, or photo library. Our web apps may request browser notifications or file access. Permissions are used only for the related feature (for example recipe photos or receipt scanning); they are optional and can be revoked in device or browser settings.

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.

Under KVKK and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, information about transfers, and compensation where relevant.

Submit requests to techascoteam@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days where required by law.

For apps with account creation, you can delete your account from within the app or web interface, or by submitting a request at https://techas.co/account-deletion. That process covers current and future TechAs applications.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on our website or within the app. The update date is shown at the top of this page.
